I have major issues with this SVG plugin software for ArcMap. First, you cannot set the coverage map extent. You basically have to clip large coverages down to the area you need to run with Mappettizer or it will crash. This alone is enough to make this software useless for any large web map production. Second, you currently can't set the svg map output size in points, inches, or any other measurement. I NEED to set output size if I am going to do svg files for iPads and other devices. There are many times that you only need the svg files and not a viewer. Currently all sizes are set automatically and tiled. You can turn the tiling off, but the files are monster HUGE without some way of setting output size. Some you can't even open in Illustrator. Third, this software is WAY overpriced for the simple things it does not do. The makers of Mappetizer just don't get it. Most people now just want the svg files with good output control and not a svg viewer. Yet they have put all their eggs in the basket with the viewer and not the SVG files. I would use one of the many free svg output programs and save your money. Test this expensive software before you buy it. I asked them to please add more control for the svg file output and all my suggestions fell on deaf ears!
